My name is Robert Fisher. I'm from the small South Eastern town of Carthage,Tennessee. I am an avid abstract/impression artist that has learned most of the tricks of the trade through trial and error, but originally it all started with a passion for the uniquely original and divinely beautiful thing that I was surround
After years of doing artwork, I just can't wait to get in my studio do what I love best. There's something rewarding about this that I had not experienced doing anything else. This all started back in April of 2018 after seeing a post on Facebook from a local artist. After taking some art lessons from this artist, I was hooked on making art.
I use acrylics, and bonding mediums for my artwork with a Style called "Acrylic Paint Pour." There is something about layering paint that I love. It is the way paint builds up in colors that makes it come alive for me. It is has taken a few years to learn the process of what really works for me and my artwork.
A lot of my work is created while listening to music. I like to paint, pour, and texturize with what I feel comes out of a song. Most of my pieces of art are formed by a having a song and or album cranked up in my studio while working. There is something about music that brings out my creativity.
When I was younger, going to art shows and music festivals were awesome. Over the years I never really grew out of that. Each show has so much talent that it is electrifying just being around it all. Today, while still going to these show, I also get to take my artwork as well. I go locally to different festivals and art shows here in Tennessee. Hope to you see you there!
